Verification notes: Re-checked this pass. The CNCF contribution flagged previously is now dated precisely: Solo.io contributed agentregistry to the Cloud Native Computing Foundation on March 25, 2026 at KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Europe, confirmed via Solo.io's own blog. Solo.io positions it alongside two related but separately-governed projects — kagent (a CNCF Sandbox project for running agents on Kubernetes) and agentgateway (housed at the Linux Foundation) — worth not conflating the three. No change to the open-source status or core registry functionality described previously. Re-checked again this pass: Solo.io has since launched two further, separately-named open-source projects — agentevals (production reliability/evaluation tooling) and agentdesktop (announced September 3, 2026, extending agentic governance to the desktop). Both are adjacent to but distinct from agentregistry itself, which this listing tracks; worth not conflating any of the four now-related Solo.io project names. No flag changes to this listing. Worth distinguishing from AIR, a newer, separately-run listing in this directory: agentregistry catalogs and versions MCP servers and agents, while AIR continuously vets add-ons for malicious behavior after they're catalogued — a discovery/registry role versus a security-scanning role.
