Operator Record is a static website. There are no accounts, no logins, no advertising networks, and no cross-site tracking. We use one privacy-preserving analytics tool, described below, to count page views. We do not build profiles of visitors, and we have nothing to sell to anyone. The only personal information we ever hold is what you choose to put in an email to us.
This site has no forms that transmit data and sets no cookies. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without fingerprinting visitors. It records the page requested, the referring site, and general details like browser, device type and country. It does not follow you across websites, does not build a profile of you, and gives us no way to identify an individual visitor. You can block it with any content blocker and the site will work normally.
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes requests to deliver pages and may log technical information such as IP addresses for security and abuse prevention. This happens at the infrastructure level, we do not receive or review those logs, and this processing is governed by Cloudflare's own privacy policy rather than ours.
Submissions, corrections, press enquiries and newsletter sign-ups all arrive by email. When you write to us we receive whatever you send — your address, your name if you include it, and the content of your message. We use it only to reply, to act on your submission or correction, and where relevant to publish the resulting listing. We do not sell it, rent it, or pass it to third parties.
Correspondence is kept while it is useful for maintaining the directory. Ask us to delete your messages and we will, subject to anything we are required to retain.
If you ask to be added, we use your address for one thing: telling you when a listing is published or materially changed. Reply to any message asking to be removed and we will take you off the list.
The directory documents organizations and the AI systems they operate, drawn from public sources such as documentation, repositories, audit reports and regulatory filings. It is not a database of private individuals. If you believe a listing contains personal information that should not be there, contact us and we will review it.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to our processing of it. Since the only such information is your email correspondence, write to us and we will handle it.
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
