Rollout began early July 2026 with expected completion by early August 2026. New Conditional Access templates specifically cover blocking high-risk agent identities, autonomous agent access without a user context, and agents acting on behalf of a signed-in user. This extends rather than changes the OAuth 2.0/MCP/A2A support already on record for this listing. Re-checked this pass via the same Microsoft Learn changelog. The Conditional Access for Agents / ID Protection for Agents rollout flagged last pass appears to have completed on schedule — the most recent changelog entries are limited to terminology and documentation clarifications (standardizing 'Entra ID Auth SDK' naming, sharpening access-package eligibility wording) rather than new capability rollouts, consistent with a completed rather than in-progress release. No flag changes. Re-checked 2026-09-28: the early-July-to-early-August 2026 rollout of Conditional Access for Agents and ID Protection for Agents is reconfirmed on schedule via Microsoft 365 Message Center (MC1395007).
