Verification notes: New listing, added this pass. Akamai's Bot & Agent Control unifies four existing products — Account Protector, Bot Manager, Content Protector, and the newer AI Brand Presence — behind a single real-time identity-and-trust decisioning layer for AI agent traffic at Akamai's edge network, announced June 15, 2026 via Akamai's own newsroom release. The framework integrates with, rather than replaces, other agent-identity approaches already in this directory: it works with Visa's Trusted Agent Protocol for payment-environment identity claims (Visa named Akamai as a supporting partner in its December 2025 update), and is collaborating with Experian and Skyfire to adopt the existing 'Know Your Agent' (KYA) framework, which links an agent's declared identity to a specific authorized human rather than only authenticating the request — KYA itself launched April 30, 2026 as an Experian/Skyfire/Cloudflare partnership (see Skyfire's listing), and Akamai's June 15 announcement joins rather than originates it. Akamai also names Auth0 and Ping Identity as integration partners for the human-to-agent authentication handoff, and TollBit and Skyfire for content-monetization/pay-per-request access. mcp and a2a support are not documented for this product line in either the press release or Akamai's product pages, so both flags stay false rather than assumed. No independent audit of the framework's identity or trust-scoring claims has been located — this is Akamai's own product announcement and partner-quote framing, not a reviewed security assessment, so evidenceLevel stays documentation-reviewed and operatorConfirmed stays false.
